Potter Tidbit

I read something interesting in the New York Times the other day. According to the report, nationwisde sales of children’s books rose last year at a rate of just 2.5 percent over the previous year. By contrast, sales rose nearly 10 percent in 2005, from 2004. The reason? Why it was Harry, of course. That was the year Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth book in J. K. Rowling’s series, came out. Amazing that one book can make such a difference on the entire industry.
