It’s a pretty good time to stop by the neighborhood bookstore. As I have mentioned a time or two, there is a sale going on. Not only that, but I noticed the other day that the monthly staff picks display has been updated and there are some pretty great books — and DVDs! — on sale.
All new books (I see some current national bestsellers as well as some never-out-of-style reads) are 25 percent off. DVDs (that Ricky Gervais is everywhere these days it seems) are 15 percent off. I am always interested to see what carious staff members choose. I have picked up more than one title from past staff picks displays and discovered amazing new worlds I otherwise wouldn’t have visited. At these prices, too, why not?
