Children’s Sections Change So Fast, Don’t They?
I was in River City Books the other day (hey, it’s a great hideout from the rain) and I noticed that they shifted a few displays in one of the most popular sections in the store — children’s books. The “end cap” display on the end of the history cases, the one that used to display new kids titles, is the new activity books section. Shifting activity books allowed for more room for picture/board books and simultaneously gained five shelves of young adult books, which, by the way, now starts where the activity books ended. Got all that?
More books, better organization. No doubt young readers are going to like the change.
