Pretty Good Gift Idea: Vino

On your behalf, dear reader(s), I am searching far and wide, high and low, up and down, left and right and, when not dizzy, north and south, for pretty good gift ideas. Then again, I can always cheat and stop by the old neighborhood bookstore. The deuce comes courtesy of Sarah Tan, a St. Olaf College graduate turned River City bookseller who always lends a helpful hand to this handless shopper. I love Sarah’s suggestion: pairing a copy of Gary Vaynerchuk’s 101 Wines Guaranteed to Inspire, Delight, and Bring Thunder to Your World with a bottle of wine. Sarah also has a recommendation while shopping for the vino. She suggests the Hess Collection, Cabernet Sauvignon (2005) for red drinkers; or the Gunn Estate, Unoaked Chardonnay (2007) for white drinkers. To that idea I have just one word: Cheers!
