Your Momma

mom.jpgThis is a post intended for those of us who have mothers. Or, at least, live with one. I know your mom is too sweet to remind you, so let me be the one to slap your back and wake you up: Mother’s Day is a week away.

There are days that can sail by without our acknowledgement. We may not know what day of the week it is or what year we’re living in (last week I forgot the 90s were over). But — if you want to live without untold shame the rest of your life — most mental health professionals recommend remembering that one single solitary day we set aside for moms in exchange for their lifelong devotion to us.

What better way to do that than to fly her to Paris? Or, if you’re on a slightly smaller budget, consider buying a book. At River City Books they have options. What’s more, they also have a great new line of greeting cards that were created with your mom in mind. Just click on this attached pic to see a sample of what I’m talking about.

She went through labor. A card is the least we can do.
