Club Drawing A ‘Picture’ of ‘Elephants’

elephants.jpgSue deMalignon, moderator of the ever-interesting River City Books fiction book club (the books are fiction; the group is real), has alerted me to the following club news:

Water For Elephants, the recently released paperback of the bestselling novel by Sara Gruen, is available at the store for those who need a copy. The club will not forget to discuss “Elephants,” and they might even have a peanut, on Tuesday, June 5, in the store’s downstairs meeting area. Click here for more about this outstanding read.

The club usually meets the first Tuesday night of each month. However, in July, because of the holiday, the club will meet on the second Tuesday (July 10). The book to be read for that meeting is The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde. Paperback copies of that book are on order and are expected to be in stock by the end of the week. Of course, club participants receive 20 percent off selected books.
